Can your exhausts be used on a track day, and where can I find the decibel readings?
Our exhausts can be used on track providing the dB killer is fitted (motorcycle product) or you have the resonated option fitted (car product) but this isn’t a guarantee as tracks have their own noise regulations so it’s always worth checking with them beforehand. For details of decibel readings taken when developing our product, please email contact@scorpion-echappements.fr and we’ll assist where possible.

In some cases the original exhaust has to be cut to remove it from the vehicle or to fit our product. Where this is required detailed instructions are supplied.

Everything required to fit your exhaust is supplied within the kit, sometimes a silicone based sealant may be required to ensure a perfect seal on the joints.

What power gains can I expect from fitting a Scorpion Exhaust?
Each vehicle has its own characteristics so it’s not possible to state a specific amount. A general figure of between 5 – 10% would be expected but this can vary due to age and condition of the vehicle.

What's the difference between resonated & non-resonated?
The main difference is whether a silencer is included or omitted in the centre section of the exhaust. A non resonated system doesn’t include a centre silencer so will be significantly louder than the standard exhaust whereas a resonated system includes a centre silencer so will only be slightly louder than the standard exhaust.
-
Will my car need a remap after fitting a Scorpion Exhaust?
If fitting a catalyst/DPF back system then no modifications are required. A remap will be required when fitting turbo back high flow sports catalyst or turbo back catalyst replacement pipe. Secondary high flow sports catalyst and secondary catalyst replacement pipes do not require mapping so will run on standard settings.
